@stretch54 Like most long-standing session players (especially LA guitar players from the early 70s on), Mike has a versatility and sensibility regarding the guitarists role in the "BIG PICTURE". Satriani and Vai are excellent players, but come on - Vai is anything but subtle. His clothes, his lines, his songs, his ego - I can't relate to any of that shit. Mike is a real person with impeccable taste, timing, tone, and technique. So is Buzzy. So is Brent Mason. These are the players I respect.
