here's Revelation 22:13 spoken by Jesus; "I am the ALPHA and the OMEGA, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End". This verse debunked you, judgerutherford.

So, "the First and the Last" = "the ALPHA and the OMEGA" = "the Beginning and the End"

@750blood: There's not 1 single allegorical statement. That's maybe true, because when JESUS said "I am THE FIRST and THE LAST" (The very title of GOD HIMSELF), HE said that LITERALLY. That means HE's really claiming to be GOD. Not allegorically or metaphorically.

Isaiah 44:6, the LORD claims to be the First and the Last..

Conclusion: Jesus claims to be God.
