Tidied the front up with some iron on white edging, and made four drawers. Edged all round the drawer fronts too. Checked the oak board for the next project to make sure it didn't warp or split over the weekend.

What would you use the mitre gauge for?

The mitre track is for feather boards.

The router obviously pushes against the router and it's insert plate, but unlike most router plates that just drop into the table, this one is screwed in.

Am I right in thinking that's a plunge router you've got under there? If so does it have a dead-switch?

I'd like to mount my own, but I have to be holding the switch down for it to run. I suppose I could put some tape around it, but I wondered if/how you'd got round the problem?

Yes, it's a Clarke contractor 1/2 inch with slow start. I was going to remove the switch and hard wire it, but in the end I just used a small spring clamp to hold it in. It works well. I also removed the plunge locking lever, so that it didn't catch when I was jacking it up and down.

Usually for holding featherboards, not much else.
