Anorexia Nervosa PSA

This is a project I did for my freshman English class. Personally knowing the horrors of this disease, I think others should be educated on what it does to the person who is diagnosed. Today, it seems as if eating disorders are viewed as a celebrity publicity stunt and a nationwide joke. This illness is very serious. It is the top psychological killer of women, with the number of deaths in men greatly increasing. I am not trying to tell you to stay away from eating disorders and look down upon them, nor am I telling you not to have one because that is near impossible. I am trying to offer you knowledge.

Dear Lord....mental illness takes all forms, I guess. I wish you would re-do the audio because you talk so fast it's hard to understand you, and I would like to understand what you are saying. oh my god, i cannot believe it :( i really hope she's okay, but from the looks of it she ruined herself. and that 41 yr old woman at like 3 stone 4 pounds or something :( its such a horrible disorder i cannot wait until i can train to help people with it.

The human body wasn't meant to be thin.  It wasn't meant to be overweight or obese either, but it certainly wasn't meant to be thin. The human body was meant to be healthy, and health comes in all different shapes, sizes, and weights.
