We didn't weigh it, but I'd guess it was around 300 lbs.
Not the biggest Bruin ever, but a very nice Mature Boar.

Rare?
We saw and filmed 44 Bears in the seven days we were on that trip. And we also saw lots of other wildlife including Eagles, Deer and an Island Timber Wolf.
So, incredible yes, beautiful and awe inspiring yes, but rare sightings...not for those of us who make nature a priority in life. I would be glad to help you find many places where you can go and enjoy, film or just watch all kinds of wildlife here in British Columbia, Canada.
