OLOL AND LSU COLLABORATE & EARL K LONG CLOSES

Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center (OLOL) and Louisiana State University have established a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) to form a public-private collaboration for graduate medical education. The agreement will move LSUs Graduate Medical Education program (GME) from Earl K Long Medical Center (EKLMC) to Our Lady of the Lakes Campus on Essen Lane. The Earl K long Center will close after the transfer as completed. Marvin Mcgraw, Director of public relations for LSU Health Center and Earl K Long Hospital says that accreditation issues as well as the overall condition of the facility are additional reasons why this collaboration should take place.
