She did great and all. But I really think Peter Pan should be played by a little boy who's voice is still that of a soprano's and is ripping at the seems with talent. I'd at least like to see it done once. Don't get me wrong. This was a great performance and this actress played the part with much enthusiasm. That is very much appreciated!
Male, perhaps. Female? Mary Martin, all the way. :) I think the crowing might be hard on the voice, of I am only guessing. Or maybe she wanted to save it for the end. Who knows? Still great, I think.
Only on the television screen. From the audience, the make-up makes everyone look just as they're supposed to; young, old, evil, good, etc. It's the distance.
