A police offcer attempts to push a stalled car out of the path of an oncoming train while a frantic mother tries to free her child from his car seat. This segment was taken from Episode 616 which aired on January 31, 1995 on CBS. This particular version of the segment was recorded after the Family Channel starting cutting episodes to make room for commercials, so it may have small parts missing.

Vote for Rescue 911 to be released on DVD at http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=3531 and to be put back on television at http://www.petitiononline.com/res911/petition.html

  • @allgood2000 does he gets awarded?

  • First shot of the train had a GE Dash 9 locomotive, second had had an EMD SD40-2. Were there 2 trains? lol

  • @TiffBabe07 yeah, we say "Fixin' to" a lot in the south. I'm from Arkansas and my parents are from Missouri. They never heard that term until they moved here. My cousins are all from the Kansas City area, so they give me a hard time about saying "fixin' to" and "coke" for a soda. It doesn't bother me, really, I think it's fun!

here's another one for you: a really heavy rain is often called a "frog choker". Not really sure where it came from, but it's fun to say. Catty-wumpus means lopsided.

  • Put it in neutral?
