@wurble ...I have a German built XR3I mk3 and it is rusted and a lot especially in the battery tray and the floor panel the doors and the bonnet too...

I had jet black german built XR3, they didn't suffer the same rust and rotting problems as XR3's built elsewhere. even at 15 years old it was in better condition than most cars half it's age. bought it for £550 in 96 and since great examples had become very rare I got £1000 for it in 99. still regret selling it.

i used to own this car in early 2002 i think i paid £450 for it i changed the rear shocks and sold it soon after whats it like now???

it wasnt a ebay bargain, it sat in the yard for a few years and recently desided to repair it

the car was left in a yard for a few years and then sold to us, the back end of the car was sold, better than any we saw, the front end only needed a few panels welded to hold it tight
