  • Hi,

I just wanted to apologize for that nasty comment I wrote the other day. I had had a really bad afternoon and was kind of letting those emotions out in the comment section. Feel really bad about that and didn't want to not say anything. I think you're a really great person and I appreciate what you're doing.. it's that zealous 80/10/10 history I have...

    Please pardon me.

  • @ocergnairb Thank you for taking the time to share this. I really appreciate it and I hear you on where you are with it all. I respect your perspective and think it's certainly healthier to keep it simple and watch the fats and sugars together. It's all cool and I appreciate your comments.

  • Oh my god, people, you cannot just think that you can make everything that's normally cooked into a fatty overspiced raw version. Raw pumpkin starch does not taste good, can barely be chewed, and can barely be digested. Just because you blend it and put agave nectar on it does not mean it is edible. See, THIS is why the raw food community bothers me. You will be healthier just eating steamed pumpkin (and other foods of that nature) than all this complex recipe fatty stuff. Not hating, but c'mon.

  • @ocergnairb I created these recipes by request. Soaking shredded raw pumpkin is a truly amazing way to reduce the starchiness. I was even surprised myself. I create MANY recipes that are extremely healthy; without agave, maple syrup or date paste. But this is a special episode for raw holiday dessert options. If the raw food community bothers you so much, and my recipes elicit this kind of a negative and combative reaction in you, I would invite you not to watch my videos moving forward.

  • coconut butter is actually different than the oil. Coconut BUTTER contains a blend of the oil and the meat of the coconut, so it is more like a creamy nut butter than a clear oil. It stays solid when heated over 75 degrees, where the oil melts into a clear liquid.
