Great video and idea. I would imagine that since the first recipe makes twelve "bars" of deodorant that the cost is actually much less than buying in the store as well.

Save the ones you have now and ask your family to give you there old containers as they finish.

@xXxhybridmeteoraxXx Hi, if you add the contents of a Vit E tab it will last up to 12 months. Add Vit E to all your home made toiletries. You can get the containers in small numbers from Primrose Aromatherapy.

oh god, this is when being natural is much less easy.

what is the shelf life of this deodorant?

in recipe one when do I put baking soda in the mixture?
-
The other oils you mentioned, like peppermint and such, is that instead of something else, or added to the recipe?
I really hate the smell of lavender, so I was wondering if I could leave that out =)

I love face naturals deodorants. They are all natural and organic and they work better than my antiperspirant. They have stick deodorants and cream ones for extra sensitive skin.

from where can one get the containers? what if the containers are not readily available? what substitutes would you suggest?

Hia,
Ok
Cosmetics Jars, Baby-food Jars, Plastic containers with a Hinged Top, works great...
So not to dry out your deodorants anything with an good top that seals really well would be wise.. :)-
