Max Adler hosted the 2011 FSH Muscular Dystrophy Walk and Roll fundraiser in Irvine, CA on 10/09/11. He spoke briefly to the crowd about how FSH has affected his own life.

Max's grandmother and mother were both afflicted with FSH, or Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy. This is the most prevelant form of muscular dystrophy, but because it isn't as high profile as other forms of the disease - FSH tends to affect adults instead of children, and isn't as easy to 'market' as other forms of MD - it receives only around 15% of the funding that goes to MD research.
