Y does the genre it is matter if you like the song? stop comparing it to other stuff and enjoy it. A band doesnt decide a genre and make songs to it, they make songs and let the people running music shops decide which genre shelf to put it on...

@synthpeej VNV is more futurepop mixed with EBM though, wouldn't you say? I don't really consider them a group that can be considered one pure form of music since they are always tweaking their sound and mixing different genres.

Also, my family always jokes that Ronan sounds like Liam Neeson lol. Also, Sasha from neuroticfish has one of the voices in the affor mentioned genres in my last comment

Wouldve been better as an instrumental with that monster opening, but IMO among EBM, synthpop, dance, electronic, and industrial genres my fav is Assemblage 23, with ties from vnv, neuroticfish, and stromkern. Also, they need to just frikin make a more encompassing genre cuz vnv makes some debatably synth pop songs and some EBM songs, cuz honor 2003 is def not synthpop

vnv nation is a brilliant band... none of his music is complicated... its pretty easy listening... and his voice is passive aggressive... just beautiful.
