I've just viewed some other Morris dance vids and I have to say you are the best and most artistic. I like the moving to the front and sudden high step. None other showed that. Super stuff :)

th at's quite a workout. I am glad to see a practice so that the various steps are visible. I have seen other vids and the steps were not as visible so thanks a lot for this vid:)

Then I take it all back, you must have been nervous indeed. It will teach me to read all in future. You did very well to get to that stage as I took at 6 months to master the meaning of the calls to fit the figure.I remember my first dance out six years ago and sympathise with you for having to put up with criticisers like me. It was brave to put the video on you tube. I look forward to seeing more, and hope to get a video done which will be open to your comments.

If you're in Carmarthenshire, why do you call yourself "Landsker"? Ain't that a mythical linguistic border in Pembrokeshire?
Need more practice, not everyone has the same hand up at the same time. the lines are all over the place. If this is the first time you have done this dance then it's good, but if not - I would keep practising!

Hi Bullenbell If you have read the "About this Video" you will have noticed that it says that this was the very first time we had danced this dance completely from start to finish and also that it was only our 8th practice night alltogether !!

We are only Just in Carmarthenshire Pembrokeshire is just around the Corner The so called Landsker Line is very close too and members of the team come from bothsides of the line so the name seemed to be quite fitting, our first Squire and one of the former members lives in Roch which is right at one end the theline

Hi, thanks for the comment. It is great fun and good exercise. We're not in Horwich though but in Llanfallteg, a small village in Carmarthenshire, West Wales.
