Sweet Jesus it's like going through a time warp....Bosco was on first, then Dempsey's Den. I remember really loving the Christmas specials of the Den. Does anyone remember Ted? He scared me more than Podge, because my Mum had this massive life-sized black & white panda bear that she won on a holiday one time, and Ted was the exact same bear. At least I think his name was Ted...am I making that up??!!

yeah! christ podge used to scare the shite out of me, i had nightmares about him. He was so evil and sinister. fair play. zig and zag were much better with ian dempsey. there wa a better chemistry. i'd love to see the storytime where they ended up as hanzel and gretel or when they broke the house of the little people.

A great storyline was when podge was bullying Zig. Zag didn't belive him as Pogde would only appear when Zig was alone. Podge got quite nasty. not sure how it ended, but podge turned up over the months/years, disguised as a orphan/woman and would repeat the process again.
