Using PDANet does not incur more charges from Verizon. It is a one-time purchase for $25. It is NOT supported by Verizon. Understandable. Verizon expects less bandwidth usage from phones compared to "real" computers. Bandwidth can and will be limited.
Verizon's plan details and features charge us $20 to tether a computer or use mobile 3G hotspot. Does your method get around that? I think its really silly that I get unlimited access but they want to slap 20 more bucks for a simple connection to a computer! Why should I pay 20 more bucks to look at the same information only thru my computer?!!!
