George Will has the temerity to tell people: really, you're doing great, it's just that liberals have convinced you that your income remaining static while food prices double and gas prices triple is a bad thing; you are just being misinformed about how hard it is to afford to eat. This guy is really disconnected from reality. I have heard a lot of people say that George Will is smart, but what's the point of intelligence if you are unwilling or unable to accept reality?

The average American house is worth 1/3 more than it was in 2000 -- There must be one helluva standard deviation then! Anyway, what the hell does it matter what your house is worth, if you've got to default on your mortgage?
