This megahit is the Christmas present to all the fans in the "Jaroussky community". This encore of the Sisteron 2005 concert is aria Nel Profondo from Orlando Furioso modified as a duo of two rival singers. After having heard this masterpiece, the regular version of this aria feels like missing something.

  • This is sooo amazing! Who critisizes this type of unconventional interpretation, not only doesn't seem able to really enjoy music, but hasn't understood the essence of Baroque: artists in that period always tried to find new views and surprising effects. That's exactly what Jaroussky, Lemieux and Spinosi do here. And they do it very wisely and with lots of humour. Hilarious! Great Spinosi and Ensemble Matheus, too!!!

  • Браво Филипп, браво Мари-Николь! Классика может быть смешной, это замечательно.

  • Esto es magnífico!! Gracias!!

  • @gesinella You are the first person I've encountered on Y-Tube to put that into words. That musical technique, however venerable the scholarly tradition, was never really static - I'm all for the way scholarship has, on the whole, brought these sounds more into their own. Yet improvisation was such an essential part of the music of the time; and of course not all instrumentalists played precisely according to modern conceptions of classical articulation!

  • @Cesconegre No, pendejo. Es arte y del bueno.
