Hpi rs4 Evo 3 SS/.21 picco/Part 1.

Short testdrive after some changes. Still needs to change a couple of things on the car. Video ends witch contact with a tire, no damage on the car. Lucky me:D !

And it does cut out normally when i get to full throttle it revs then dies out very quickly and then cuts off

Sounds like the hsn is to lean. Try riching it. If the car produces lots of smoke when pulling up, lean the lsn and adjust idle.

Ok then sounds good to me and another thing my engine cuts out after about two minutes of running is it becuase its to lean or to rich??? I ask u coz u seem pretty good at tuning and that lol

Is the engine running hot? Does it cut out when your driving? Do you see a trail of smoke when hitting the throttle? How old is the engine? Tried a new plug?

Well I also had to learn, wrecked my firts engine. :P

I have got two videos on here but they aint really that good because my driveshafts at the front kept poping out i sorted the problem with that but i want it to go abit quiker... How much was the engine and did you need an engine mount to put it in ????

Maybe you should change all the output drives to the hardend steal version. My car is a SS version. So it was a kitt with al the renforced parts in it. The engine is about 165 euro and come's with mounts/screws/header/spring/et­c/etc..the only thing you need is a differect collet for the flywheel to fit. The original collet wont fit over the shaft.

I think it runs at a normal tempreture i tried a new plug and it still cuts out its not to smokey when i get to full throttle but there is some smoke so im abit confused

Hey, in this video it wasnt shifting. I did play with the gear ratio and this engine. Did found out that the original spurrs and purple pinions is the best combo. In the video's it has got the red pinions and original spurrs. About the engine, its a complete package, you can just mount it in your car, it looks like its factory build. Its a picco max .21

Did you change any thing else apart from the engine like gear ratio and that or was it just an engine swap
