2009 Nissan Maxima Freeway Run

Me test driving a Brand New 2009 Nissan Maxima from Stadium Nissan in my city of Orange...I hit 105 mph in the Freeway with the transmission in Manual Sport Mode...meaning i was using the paddle shifters...very very nice car...video taken with Verizon's Samsung Flipshot

The only thing I don't like about the car, is that in Manual mode, it doesn't let you redline it, it uphifts by itself, unlike the mitsubishi evo x. but im still thinking of buying it about 80% chance...

you could probably fix the redline problem aftermarket, but the plus side is that you dont lose power when shifting right?

on the freeway, what was the average speed?

I have just traded my 2006 G35 Coupe for a new Maxima with sports and tech packages. The Maxima pisses all over the G35 from a great height, from the quality of the ride to the features within. I looked at buying a G37 but much preferred the Maxima inside. I have had 3 Altimas, a 2005 Maxima, a Murano and a G35. This is by far the best Nissan I have ever driven (and I used to work for Nissan corporate hence all the Nissan cars!) My Maxima rocks!! :oD

@bp240 - They don't know what they are talking about this car is sick ! I only had mines a week & there is nothing like it for it's price.... 09 Max with sports package Crimson Black ! What a smooth ride / Head Turner ! - just don't get a speeding ticket this car is madd fast ! Huge difference between an '01 Max which I traded in for the '09 Max...

i got 2009 mitsubishi eclipse GT the car is amazing i used to have 08 maxima sold it its nice car but the GT verision of eclipse hauls!!

If they made the Maxima rear or AWD it would be every bit as good as the IS350, but for 10 grand less. I can deal with it. The CVT gets rid of almost all torque stear and like I said for a daily driver it goes whereever you need it to.
