Martin Pedreira Rodríguez
Born in Havana, 1952. Guitarist, professor and composer.
Student of the Mtros. Isaac Nicola and Leo Brouwer, is graduate in music of
the Superior Institute of Art. He also received clases from the Mtros.
Alirio Díaz and María Luisa Anido.
He has developed presentations for the whole local geography as well as in
Germany and Spain, where it was presented in 1995 in the Artistic Lyceum of
Madrid by invitation of the Spanish Guitar Society.
Guitar professor since 1975, he carried out studies related with the
pedagogy and instrumental technique with those he obtained a Master degree
in 2002, thesis that continues developing to obtain a Ph. in the Superior
Institute of Art.
At the present time he works in the Superior Institute of Art, where it
imparts classes of the instrument, Methodology and Guitar History.

CURRICULUM

Alumno de los Maestros Isaac Nicola y Leo Brouwer, es licenciado en música
del Instituto Superior de Arte. También realizó estudios con los Mtros.
Alirio Díaz y María Luisa Anido.
Desarrolló presentaciones por toda la geografía del país, así como en
Alemania y España, donde se presentó en 1995 en el Liceo Artístico de Madrid
por invitación de la Sociedad Guitarrística Española.
Profesor de guitarra desde 1975, realizó estudios relacionados con la
pedagogía y la técnica instrumental de la guitarra vinculada a la
fisiología, con los que obtuvo un Master en el año 2002, tesis que continúa
desarrollando actualmente para obtener el grado de Doctor en Ciencias del
Arte en el Instituto Superior de Arte.
Es profesor del Departamento de Guitarra en el Instituto Superior de Arte,
donde imparte clases del instrumento y dirige los talleres de Metodología de
la Enseñanza e Historia de la Guitarra.
