Sorry about it just cutting off, had some problems while saving. Anyway just showing me collecting the entire Harvest Set.

Harvest Festival Q&A:

Q: What is the Harvest Festival?
A: Animal Crossing's equivalent to Thanksgiving Day.

Q: When is the Harvest Festival?
A: Same day as Thanksgiving.

Q: What is the Harvest Festival about?
A: Tortimer is hosting a banquet near town hall and yours neighbors and you are invited. He even invited a special guest for the party.

Q: So what do you do during the Festival?
A: First you go to near Town Hall and talk to Tortimer. He will give you Forks and Knifes which he wants you to deliver to your neighbors. But your not going to deliver them.

Q: Wait, what? Why not?
A: Here's where the main objective comes in. Once you collect a pair of Fork and Knifes go around your town searching for Franklin.

Q: Who is Franklin and why is he here?
A: Franklin is a turkey and he is the special guest Tortimer invited for the banquet though it seem that hes the planned meal, not a guest.

Q: So how do I help him?
A: Upon talking to him he will notice your utensils and he will confiscate them from you. In exchange he will give you a random piece of furniture from the Harvest Set which is only available from him.

Q: Okay I got some furniture from him is that it?
A: No, not one bit. Return to Tortimer and keep collecting an endless supply of Forks and Knifes and keep turning them into Franklin and he will keep giving you and endless supply of Harvest furniture as well. They also sells for a pretty decent amount of cash if you get more than one of the same item.

Q: So how many items are in the Harvest Set?
A: 12

Your neighbors just tell you about a "mysterious visitor"(Franklin) lurking around your town and give you a hint towards his location. I guess you could call it useful to give your utensils away if your stuck on finding Franklin.
