what try of fuel do these boats run on? is it JP5
-
@krypekeeper Maybe more but if those were piston engines they would be burning high-dollar race gas, where these turbines can burn diesel, kerosene, jetA, waste veggie oil etc. It would cost a LOT more for 1400hp piston motors in fuel.
And unlike piston motors these turbines are ultra-reliable, especially coming from Turbine Marine, one of the top turbine shops in the world. TM knows how to rig turbines for the very harsh salt water marine environment.

which is the song at 0:17 ???
What is the purpose of mixing water in with the jet exhaust. Is the only reason to cool the EGT so you don't burn down wooden docks?
Yes... using raw water to cool the exhaust system keeps the engine bay very cool... it also helps around the dock. The racing versions use dry exhausts reducing systems etc.
alvinski100 So whats the top speed on this fighter jet ???
This one has TM 1450's so she'll run 140 mph all day long. Light fuel with two guys and good air she'll probably top out in the 160's. The Nor-Tech hull is quite heavy and strong and she has a lot of accessories.
where can i buy one please please pretty please with a cherry on top
