  • any idea where i can watch the chieviot, the stag and the black black oil?

  • Just been shown on BBC ALBA. However not on i-player or anywhere else.

  • My first ever professional lighting job was operating for a 7:84 performance of CSBBO at the Grand Theatre in Kilmarnock. It was really exciting for me and the cast were great to work with. John sat up on the lighting balcony to give me the cues. The black and white photograph in the video is exactly as I remember them. I got five pounds for the day :)

  • It was a fantastic play but as far as I know it was only shown on TV once many years ago. I think the late Annie Inglis was involved in bringing it to Aberdeen probably in the Arts Centre.

I have the review from Plays and Players approx 1974 which shows a young Bill Paterson, I would love to see it again, but I don't think it's available anywhere.
