  • You have a nice swing to the tune.

    Halifax,Nova Scotia,Canada

  • the trumpet solo was sooo gay xD

  • who played the trombone solo tundae?

  • Haha.. awesome.

I always like going to Upland. People are nice there.

And they do have good food. Kudos for that. Big time.. haha

  • Well, you guys played it at how many times faster than written tempo? Don't look down on it just because they're not playing it as fast as you with as many rythm breaks and solos, however excellent they may be. Your school's style is generally fast. There's nothing wrong with that, but remember that there's a whole bunch of different styles out there. Jazz is supposed to be open for interpretation and don't think that your interpretation is better. That being said, Repeat after me, "Gaasfroobaaa"

  • I only bashed on you because you made a pointless statement.

  • you guys were at my schools jazz fest on saturday and i have to say that i love watching ur director on stage cuz he dances and its kinda fun to watch lol

  • So then who has more style, this band or the other one? I think it says something about the band's musicianship if they can keep a song tight and stylistically accurate at a high tempo like that. I agree it is solely up to the players to make a song come alive, and if this is what you believe... Well just listen to both charts.

Also if you want to talk about bashing stuff, I guess bashing bands is bad but bashing other people is okay now, that makes lots of sense.
