Wow!!! Was searching for this song for ages after my favorite oldies audio cassette went missing in the floods. This version is any day more melodious than the original though I mean no offence. It just sounds superb to me!

Why do people always have to compare. Yes, Elvis sang it and did great. Percy sang it and it sounds great. Who cares? Both are beautiful renditions. Oh but how about "Aura Lee" by Jim Reeves. Or even more originalu by the singers back in the Civil War days. Who cares. They are all good renditions of this very same song. Like one like the other. Depends on your taste....Now if it were a horrible version. I'd understand. But both are good.
