Both those guys had incredibly long lives for the period they lived during! That is a very cool bridge. It has definitely stood the test of time!

The covered bridge festival just took place in the state that has more than any other covered bridges. My state........INDIANA. Peaceful places. I like spending time at places like that.

@1963impala2dr well my grandmother tells me stuff about what it was like back in the day of horse drawn farming.she also said that it was a per horse charge to cross the Frenchtown bridge so my great grandfather would unhook two horses in PA. drive two to New Jersey get the load then hook up the two horses to pull the hill back to the farm.and when it rained on his way home he would pull under the covered bridge so the hay horses and him would stay dry.

@1963impala2dr- S.Carolina is one of my fav.states to visit also. I have family that live in Greenville county and my nephew was born in Greer... They also have a real nice dragstrip in Greer that we have been to many times. I also lived in Greenvile for many years myself ! thanks for sharing this covered bridge. G.L.54

Is this bridge up near Travelers Rest or River Falls Marietta area? looks real familiar. I lived in the backwoods out there for a year or so, The kind hospitable people bring back allot of memories ,, Great string of vids 63 thanks for sharing
