  • ive been a chef for 6 years and i've even gotten a chance to slaughter meats that i cook. but when i see the fish get cooked, i truly believe that this is cruel. there seriously is no upside to eating something that is still alive. kill the animal quickly, thank it for giving its life, use everything you can, and waste nothing. I respect the cultures of other people, no matter how strange or bizarre. But seriously, why still eat it when its not dead? theres no point

  • sorry, this isn't cooking.

  • see i wonder about that fish.. Ive seen dead fish that have been in a cooler for 4 hours "jump out" when the lid is opened.. I do see any blood from the fish when he cuts it..... opps just saw the "cooking live fish .... yea thats F'ed up..

  • @gorisan202 the point is ' it looks extremely fresh'

  • chinese...

  • jesus, i just cried after seeing him do that to a live fish

  • i never you tube comment, but the snake and the fish are not alive. The way that they are cooked is a testament to the skill of the chef, It has to do with gases and fluids that are still trapped in the sealed/fried fish that animate it. Its a culinary trick is all.

Dont be hating on the Chinese. They make good food.

  • CRUEL!!!

  • fuck sake fish was still alive

  • the bloody snake still moving it means it still alive for crying out loud!! jesus christ!! watz ur problem chinese people!!! godddddd!!!

  • @Ghannon11 No, you're right. But we torture them their whole lives and deliver them a cruel death. Not to mention, the meat industry is the biggest culprit in the pollution problem we are having in our country. The way we do things is bad for the animals, bad for our health (because we consume way to much meat), and extremely bad for the environment.

  • @CrzyAsianGuy Um, my sentence was pretty perfect, straight, and to the point...Maybe you don't read that well. You obviously have anger issues and instead of answering the question, you chose deflect by insulting my grammar. That's usually what people do when they don't have anything valid to say. And since we are critiquing, you should have put a comma before god damn (which also should have been capitalized) or made it separate sentence. "learn" should have been capitalized too.
