Thank you great video, I've tried setting this software (Ultra VNC) up at a karaoke bar, so they can control their computers in their vip rooms, but all their computers are offline and the owners don't seem to think they need to be online for the software (Ultra VNC) to work instead they have all their computers connected to each other via ethernet (cable).

so do those computers need to be online, for the software (Ultra VNC) to work?

@SuperMichog No, the computers do not have to be connected to the internet. If the computers are connected only to the Local Network it should be just fine. You will need to connect to the computers via their computer names or local IP addresses. This should work just fine. PS.: the off-internet computers will only be reachable from within the local area network.. Makes sense?

hey how can i watch the videos being played under ultravnc? i cant do it...

I dont know if you can. Videos are very high demanding when it comes to bandwith. I dont think UltraVNC is built for that, or even if you rinternet connection is able to do it... Maybe try running at home over the network to see if it works first.. Al least this way you eliminate the internet factor. Good luck.

This video is very clear and concise. A link to your remote desktop tutorial would be nice though. I couldn't find it...and I really do need to watch it.

the ipconfig command will just show you your local ip address use for local connection thats why it didnt match to ( ipchicken ^_^)
