I didn't glue down the cap w/ the bolt so it comes off to screw on the camera. That gets around the awkwardness of attaching the camera.

I think the problem with your fig rig is you, when you test it and can see your shadow its obvious that you aren't even trying to walk steadily, swaying side to side and up and down. Even with the fig rig you have to try to walk and keep your hands steady. Nice rig though, a bit big for my taste but I guess its still in beta
