About the issue of her being black, most blacks in this country are mixed whether they know it or not. No one in America is really pure blooded. Only recent immigrants are. You can't go around pressuring people to identify as the race you want them to. I find that rude and ignorant. Take Obama for example. He's first-generation mixed.
