great to see these two guitar greats together! Yeah there seems to be a mix problem, I get it, I would guess that you guys who are raggin' on Arlen aren't fit to lick his boots.

Fucking shame Danny got dicked over in the mix .I also saw him get the short end of the stick in a jam with Albert Lee and Vince Gill. As good and tasty a tone as Arlen has ,Danny could mop the floor with him even if he'd hit the floor from too much tequila!!!!

arlen roth shouldn't even clean the stage after the show. He's just not fit to be there! Of course they would have to ruin Danny Gatton's sound!

It ain't no "cat fight"...Arlen was giving Danny an oppotunity to be on Conan with him, and the reason Vivino was playing rhythm was becasue Danny's rhythm player/singer, Billy Windsor had just died 5 days before this show!

of course Jimmy Vivino has to get in on the act... what a stage hound. Danny could play both parts, no need for Jimmy. Danny is way low in the mix, maybe Arlen didn't want to be upstaged. The GREATEST GUITARIST ALWAYS GET SCREWED. sounds like Arlen learned alot from Danny. if you watch the other tequilla video, you can see Danny KILLING Arlen... although they both do a great cat fight. I shouldn't be so hard on Arlen...he is a GREAT PLAYER...I just Jealous.

@bLAStSuCaRTa Your point should be beaten with a stick. When ever somebody solos..especially on television..they should be brought up immediately in the mix. So that apparently looks great for the Conan O'Brien show to have the sense to do TIGHT SHOTS with the camera on the SOLOIST but then not be able to hear the soloist? "He's lucky he got to solo as long as he did." Bullshit. He fucking EARNED it through years of hard work. He isn't some fucking newbie pulled off the street.

Yep, you would give the fiddle player 3 solos in a tune and mix it so nobody would hear them. Afterall , when it's all said and done, you are the star and should be heard more than the sidemen. Now if the audiance has to sit and watch guys up there moving thier hands, with no sound coming out,  F*ck em! Who gives a shit what the audience thinks!

@bLAStSuCaRTa Arlen's a great PLAYER, and that's also why he's a great teacher. Danny and he were best friends, and since the new Toolin' Around album was mostly duets, he invited Danny to do this with him. Danny should've been equally up in the mix, but the Conan folks apparantly messed up...great clip, though!
