earthmother, Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion, and you have every right to have yours, but for Sam to open up about his feelings and philosophy was very touching and heartfelt. His videos have a touch of everything whether it be his humor,his amazing singing talent, his interviews on Friend Friday, etc... This particular video had a more personal touch and I'm thinking that his vlogpeople appreciate it very much.

OMG!! I just heard your "Bridge Over Troubled Water" for the first time! You took me back to Star Search days but you have such a controlled sophistication in your vocals! I loved it!! You still can move me, dude! I love to hear you get all ethnic vocally and still be that cute white boy somewhat reserved in your movements on stage! Too cute of a contrast! Hey! I LIKE liver!!! And to be completely honest, I kinda don't mind celery either. My vlog person card doesn't revoked for admitting that, does it?
So Sam, your positive attitude isn't always as effortless as it looks. I found your confession rather inspiring. Optimisim doesn't just grow on trees, does it? It takes work. A classic example of "all about the journey".

There should be an island for celery/liver lovers where you can live in peace with your liver and celery and leave civilized people to themselves. You may continue to be a vlog person, but you must never approach me in person with the smell, hint or suggestion of celery or liver.
As for your second part - clearly your consumption of liver and celery have not completely obscured your knowledge of the journey... thank you.

Thank you for being YOU! Your talent, your outlook on life, your contagious enthusiasm for living is what draws people to you. Your song, Only Angels know, helped me to process a recent loss in my life. I hope you know that your music and these vlogs really do touch and help people.

Thank you for telling me about Only Angels Know. On the DVD when I talk about that song, I discuss that feeling one has when they lose someone where you can't believe anything still going on. And somebody is losing someone al the time. It's so so hard.
