If you want to watch more "Competitive Battles" (I thought every Iron Chef Episode was competitive o.o?), go watch the Ohta faction battles versus Iron Chef Morimoto.

my point is that I wish to see a more competitive battle. The challenger is an expert in vegetable but seems so unfamiliar with the theme ingredient.

You are missing the point.
What's important in the battle is the final taste of the dishes they provide. Sakai in this battle in particular produced masterpieces to each judge's month. Sakai really is a chef par excellence.

This is suppose to be a great battle but actually Sakai-san wins comprehensively. It was a great performance by Sakai-san. He truly is a great Iron Chef. Well done...
