XD for you sooo idealistic/naive "saving for capital" guys. You are seriously out off water! it's quite clear that capital is HISTORICAL phenomena. The first and only realistic way to gain capital is good old brown nose tactic with the Old Guys and they MIGHT lend for your own leverage scam. The second is inheritance(you did got it right?;). Of course people are trying to save the money when there is no safety net they might(and sometimes do) die running out of money when they are old or sick.

capitalism requires capital, capital comes from forgoing present satisfaction and investing in the produced means of production, that is SAVINGS. Aggregate demand, which ignores time and the production structure, is from Keynsian economics.  This is not in any way capitalism
