Great video. I really like Emanuel Ax. He is one of the performers in the documentary "In Search of Beethoven". In that movie Ax actually admits he can not play some of the music, as it was written by the Maestro. Instead, Ax says he takes some shortcuts, and just moves on. The implication being that nobody else can play it either the way the Maestro wrote it, but those people won't even admit they can't play it correctly. What a hoot!!
Thanks again for sharing.

@CloudySunrise Even though there appears to be 3 movements there are only two, this is the intro for the next one. The last note of this movement is the start of the next movement. And then there's the third Rondo. So it goes part 1 (movement 1 + 2) part 2 (movement 3)

Is the last note of this cut off or does it just end that way?

it's quite weird that of the over 12 thousand people who have watched this only four have bothered to comment this.. beautiful music (and a beautiful page turner)
YoYoMa is always great to listen to (and if I can see him it is much more better!!)
:-)
Thank you.

I love the expression on the face of the page-turner- completely taken by the music.
