Almost two years ago, September 13, 2007, my mother passed away due to pancreatic cancer. My father had a video made of her. It was made by Chindra Dixon. She took various photos that Dad found of Mom and put them in a slide show, and had the song Desiderata by Les Crane in the background. I posted it on YouTube and it was taken down due to copyright issues. So I chose to make my own audio track, one YouTube wouldn't quibble over. These are clips from the funeral service held at the Sanford Church of God in North Carolina. The background songs are "It Is Well", "Everybody Will Be Happy Over There", and "My Anchor Holds" all performed by the church choir. Most of the words are mine from the eulogy. Some are from Eugene Powers, my parents' pastor at that church. I originally thought Taylor was going to help with the sound editing, but all that ended up happening was she encouraged me to do it. For that, I thank her here, but I couldn't remove her name from the credits the way I put this together, lol. Oh well, I'm sure she doesn't mind. :-)
