From time to time the Fiat America car club hosts a 1,000+ mile tour through northern California typically called the Mille (Italian for 1,000) similar to the California Mille and the Mille Miglia of old. This year the event was much more free-spirited and slightly less organized and therefore dubbed the Melee.
Over the course of 3 days the club drove some great roads and clocked well over 1,000 miles on their cars. The new 2012 Fiat 500 proved it's worth on these back roads as a fun, spirited car and has earned a place in the club among the other Fiat models such as the X1/9, Spider, and Brava.
The Fiat America Melee 2011 started at Fiat of Fremont, regrouped at Fiat of Concord, went as far north as Fernwood, and ended the tour in Dublin. There were 34 participants and 19 vehicles (6 of which were new Fiat 500's).
Hope you enjoy the video, thanks for watching and enjoy the ride.
