I recently found myself addicted to this show. I love the whole dynamic between Merlin and Arthur. I think that is what makes the show so interesting (that was really clever to introduce Merlin as a young boy). I wanted to show how much Merlin's fate is related to Arthur's and how hard it is for him to make people safe without beeing caught doing magic. Because he always has to hide what he really is for the "greater good" but I think he somehow wants people to find out who he really is. That could explain why I wanted to make of that last line "They won't, they never do" something a bit bitter and sad.

The series played with many different emotions (not only comedy) and I wanted to show that apart from love/ship or comedy, that show is deeper than I expected it to be.

NOTE : So sorry about the end of the song cutting off a bit too quickly. I didn't use the right version of the song but could change it since I was going to finish the vid. I hope it will be okay all the same ^^
