  • CAN YOU GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE AMOUNT OF MATERIAL DO I NEED AND HOW MUCH WOULD I SPEND TO MAKE PATIO SLAB FOR ABOUT 24' X 16'.

I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR HELP THANKS

  • Yes for a 384 sq ft pad 3.5" thick you will need 4.12 yards but round up to 4.5 yards giving you a little to wast. If you plan to pump the concrete you need to add about a 1/4 yard more. As for the cost for the total project you should be around $1200.00 that is concrete at $120.00 yard.

  • THANKS FOR POSTING. I do not have any thing in that area of construction.

  • nice!

  • Thanks we are trying!

  • THANKS FOR YOUR HELP BROTHER, YOUR VIDEOS ARE OWESOME

  • i just figured out what DIY stood for(do it yourself)

  • I want to attempt pourint a new concrete floor in my basement. I have a toilet and two drain pipes...do you have any vids on dealing with drain pipes etc?

  • @Muhammadsheasha1 - When I saw that he is using a compactor after staking the forms I was surprised because I know the compactor any where near the stakes are going to force the stakes outward. ALL THAT WORK FOR NOTHING. Like you said if he stays away from the stakes and even the form boards it will probably be ok but he said put base material up the form board then compact. That will force boards outward also. I did learn from some of his techniques so far but I don't like compacting this way.

  • compaction should be prior to finalize the form works, as the compactor may affects the accuracy of form works, or you should not compact the soil nearby shuttering to avoid affecting it, so that the soil nearby shuttering will not reach the satisfied compaction percentage.

    Thanks
