How do you like my accent? This is some sort of a fantasy flower. I'm calling it a daffodil but actually it's more like some sort of a lily with daffodil leaves and rose-like sepals. I didn't put too much effort into this but if I did it again, I'd use the curve tool more, since freehand drawing tends to lead into more work.

This was originally recorded using CamStudio, a free screen capture program. The commentary was recorded separately. CamStudio is a cool program but I noticed if you use that to record audio, it will cause disruptive lagging and loss of quality, so it's better to record audio separately. Also if you record the video first, then you can see which parts require commenting.

Personally I find it hard to concentrate on drawing and doing other stuff (like narrating) at the same time.

  • veeeery very nice - but how do you do that effect with the rubber...?? i didn't get it :)

  • @chelseina You need to have the color you want to replace as your foreground color and the color you're replacing it with as your background color and use the right mouse button instead of the left one (unless your mouse has a left-handed setting on).
