Beating Sodapopinksi. Can I do it?

I have been playing this game for many years. I don't play it ritualistically. I don't play it often but occasionally I do enjoy playing it.

I'm not exactly the best. When I used to fight this guy at 8-12 year old I didn't have the reflexes to beat him, and I was trigger happy and kept moving rather than waiting.

Even though I've improved over the years overall, I still have a trigger finger that i'm trying desperately to combat. I still have a long way ago but atleast I was able to pick up the controller, start recording and fight Sodapopinski right?

I think you just press like the minus key or something... hmm I'll get back to you on that as my Wii isn't hooked up and I honestly play that game on reflexes not based on what does what. I have to re condition my reflexes based on the opponent. For example Disco Kid I have to start ducking instead of left or right and on some characters I have to give myself a slight delay on my dodges. I'll check after I do a few things.
