No, he didn't just like there weren't 'three wise men' who visited 'baby' Jesus...but there's nothing wrong with portraying there being 3 of them...and there's no harm in portraying it in a pageant as the gifts being presented to a baby for the sake of a production.
I am sad for you because you are missing the joy of the whole gift. You miss the point. The legend of 'Santa' grew from the love that Nicholas had for Jesus.
That's the lesson of Santa, that's the point of this song.

You're sadly misinformed. Check a valid source (not Wikipedia-can't even use it for school papers it's so inaccurate). NO Satanic origins. Nicholas was a devout Christian who shared Christ's love with others during his lifetime. (The whole point of this song, as I said...not the sleigh, red suit, chimney gig.) Oh well. I'm sad for you. Truth Will Out.

Yes I have, and that's why I said what I do. any encyclopedia will tell you the origins of Santa Claus. Look him up on wikipedia
there is too much satanic origins in there for my book, and saint nickolas didn't fly with reindeer and enter houses through the chimney.
Sorry but Santa didn't share those concepts with me, GOD did!

Katbird, have you ever read a history book? "Santa" was indeed a real person. If you'd listen to the song, you'd get that the whole POINT of the song is that he shared the greatest gift of all-Christ's love. Sadly, you miss the point completely. A few concepts that Santa shared that you should try: love, joy, happiness, faith...
