This is magnificent music throughout of course, but the last twenty seconds of this piece are absolutely exquisite.

Рахманинов написал это произведение меньше чем за две недели. Оно настолько произвело сильное впечатление, что было исполнено пять раз перед переполненным залом.

  • Has anyone noticed there are no time signatures?

  • Simply beautiful. A treasure.

  • I listen the end, 1:50 - ...., again and again. The secret of the heavenly chord is the last quarter note in tenore2 - the a (2:04). This little note open the whole harmony to another.

  • Zeer fraaie werken, ter ere van God !

  • @KukolkaG21 Yeah I don't know how to read russian at the moment, but maybe I'll learn soon. Awesome! Thank you.

  • @MichaelJLgs19p If you know how to read in russian the lyrics are on the music sheet.. we have the same exact ones as this one but here's in american letters: (Prre-ee-deete Po-o-klo-neem-cya Tsa-re-e-vee na-a-a she-e-moo Bo-o-goo) (Prree-e-dee-te Po-o-klo-o-knee-ee-ee-ee-cya-ee-pree-ee-ee-pa-a-dem Xhree-stoo Tsa-pe-e-e-e-e-vee-na-ah-ah-ah-ah she-e-e-moo Bo-o-goo)

  • @KukolkaG21 Yes I would prefer them in russian. That way i could sing it myself. Though it would probably be better if it was written as it should be pronounced.

  • @MichaelJLgs19p lyrics translated to american? Cuz this is in Old Russian

  • Oh were gonna sing this in church choir, I'm excited. :)This is so beautiful!

  • This is the most beautiful music I have ever hear.

When I die I want this to be resounding from the heavens haha

Does anyone have any idea where I could find the lyrics.
