Maybe this one is a bit "out there" but I'm full of crazy ideas. I got upset when I heard this guys story. I thought if everyone clubbed together we could do something. But these things often take time to get rolling, so I've jumped in with a substantial contribution.

We can get this lunatic driver off the road, we can help some guy who's feeling pretty low at the moment.

I invite you to follow my lead, I invite you to get this dickhead off the road and potentially save lives - if he's prepared to kill someone (for all he knows) and drive off what else is he (or she) capable of?

It's late, I'll update this more tomorrow based on the response, if you think you can miss breakfast one day this week, or drink a couple less beers and put that money into something worthwhile instead then send me a message noting how much you'd like to chuck in.

Please?

I'm doing something for some random guy who I don't know, now do something for me. Spread the word. Post this in bike related places...

(I'm guessing these billboards aren't too much, obviously my offer depends on them not being $100,000 each :P AT WORST we can get 10,000 posters printed and pay some kids to put them up in the local area?)

  • its a great idea, to try and catch the guy as well as ride motorcycle awareness.

  • It never happened.

I got a bit disillusioned when the guy who "couldn't afford his medical bills" was fixing up his bike with expensive parts???

  • I do like this its Brilliant. what an amazing idea and a fabulous group of people willing to pay it forward and help. I definately have no objections to this. I have done a follow-up video to my original. If you have not seen it, give it a look.

  • You gotta help me tho. You're not answering my questions. Have you got a specific google link? Bear in mind I'm a billion miles away and have no clue as to where the hell you are etc..

  • I can see the banner now "help find the guy that hit and run an innocent uninsured rider"

surely if they find him won't the rider get in trouble for no insurance?

  • He had insurance, they refused to pay.

  • so that kids, is why you need insurance

  • I guess the lesson learned here is to have insurance.

  • But the guy in the car would have either flogged the car off the next day or replaced the parts that broke off, like mirrors and stuff. He wouldnt leave the car in the same state so it would almost hardly be identifiable.

  • You've got good vibes, man. There should be more vigilantes in the world.

  • It's a shame that never caught on. But you've shown you're a noble guy Sven so *thumbs up*.

I wish there was more done about about motorcycle awareness, not just in the UK either. Make it a bit safer to ride, you know?

  • another fine example of the fucked up American health system.

  • i'd help ya,yank, but it might be a wild ride, let's tie the bonehead to my rear guard, and go hit the interstate, l.o.l.
