Could you tell me more about the interface? It´s use an digital potenciometers or PWM?

the mirros´s actuator are galvos or stepmotors?

both about the same.... power is what damages your eyes, not apparent brightness.

Both should damage it the same way. The only thing is that you see the green part of the visible spectrum better than the red, so it looks brighter.
