An arrhythmia is a problem with the speed or rhythm of your heartbeat. Patients who suffer from arrhythmia can be treated at the Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center's CardioVascular Institute. In this video, Mark Josephson, MD, Chief of Cardiology at BIDMC, is joined by laboratory nurses and former patients to offer a start-to-finish explanation of the procedure performed in this lab.
