I so remember watching this that Fri. night. My parents were over at the neighbors house & I was home alone. I had gotten into trouble earlier in the week & I wasn't supposed to watch t.v. The Shining was the only decent thing on & of course the disclaimer drew me right in. I was 13 yrs. old at the time, & the movie scared the shit out of me. Thanks a lot Jack!

We didn't have cable until the mid eighties, so I used to anticipate watching these movies on major networks, especially ABC. What memories! Now these networks suck big time with all the reality junk and over-hyped cop shows. I do miss this era plenty!
