why do people even said "She took advantage of her disability" and "it's not Fair to other candidates"????

everyone always taking advantage of something everyday, like your god given brain, family status, friends, connection, etc.... if her disability can improve her life for the better, it is all the more she should use it. and there is no such thing as "Fair", it's about takes what you have and makes the most use of it.
