Rock 'n' Roll High School" is a song by the punk rock group the Ramones from the soundtrack album Rock 'n' Roll High School. The single did not chart in the U.S. but peaked at number 67 on the UK Singles Chart.
The Ramones re-recorded the song in 1979 for the album End of the Century, produced by Phil Spector. The song's tune/musical structure is very similar to that of earlier Ramones song "Sheena is a Punk Rocker".
The Ramones reportedly had to play the opening chord to the song for 8 hours straight at the behest of the eccentric Phil Spector.
